Company History

Award-winning Web site developer, editor and writer Reesa Marchetti (see resume) started Sheer Web Design™ (formerly SpideRee Web Design) in 1996 to meet the growing demand for Web site services. Clients range from artists and entertainers to organizations and businesses.

Reesa stays up to date in this evolving field, and has:
Multimedia and HTML experience.
Search engine optimization skills.
Web marketing and e-commerce expertise.
Webmaster and Dreamweaver certificates from N.J. Institute of Technology.
HP Learning Center training in Advanced Photoshop Applications, Graphic Design and Flash.
Approved Web Presence Developer for Microsoft FrontPage status.

Previous experience as a newspaper editor enables Ms. Marchetti to create and manage winning Web content for a number of high-profile clients.

She combines creative design skills with Web marketing, coding and search engine know-how to develop sites that not only look good, but also function well. Most Sheer Web Design clients see an improvement in their business as a result.

An Internet pioneer, Reesa began writing HTML (Web code) for Prodigy's online magazine, Living Digital, in 1995. That was the year the World Wide Web first became widely available to the public.

Also that year, she created COol MOther's Home and its Philly Music page. More recently, Reesa developed Relive the '80s, a multimedia tribute to the new-wave punk-rock music scene in Philadelphia.
