Under the direction of award-winning Web site developer, editor and writer Reesa Marchetti, Sheer Web creates fully functioning business, e-commerce and personal Web sites for musicians, artists, companies and nonprofit organizations.

In 2006, the company added its Sheer Web Host division to provide economical Cart32 e-commerce hosting, dedicated servers, virtual private servers and standard hosting products. Sheer Domain Names opened in 2010 to provide low-cost domain name registration services with free privacy protection.

History

An Internet pioneer, award-winning Web site developer, editor and writer Reesa Marchetti began writing HTML (Web code) for Prodigy's online magazine, Living Digital, in 1995. That was the year the World Wide Web first became widely available to the public. Soon after, with a nod to her musical roots, Reesa created the "COol MOther's Philly Music" site.

Reesa started the Sheer Web Design™ company (formerly known as Spideree Web Design) in 1998 to meet the growing demand for Web site services. She stays up to date in this evolving field, and has:
• Multimedia and HTML experience.
• Search engine optimization skills.
• Web marketing and e-commerce expertise.
• Mobile website design know-how.
• Webmaster and Dreamweaver certificates from N.J. Institute of Technology.
• Advanced Photoshop, Graphic Design and Flash training.

With previous experience as a newspaper editor, Reesa works with her staff to create and manage winning Web content for a number of high-profile clients. More recently, she developed Relive the '80s, a multimedia tribute to the new-wave punk-rock music scene in Philadelphia.

Reesa and her staff combine creative design skills with Web marketing, coding and search engine know-how to develop sites that not only look good, but also function well. Our web design clients see an improvement in their business as a result.
